Sad news

kitty camp has closed its doors

After nearly 15 years serving hundreds of families across Johannesburg, Kitty Camp has closed.

After much consideration and a year of deliberation, my family and I have decided to sell our house, which naturally means Kitty Camp must close as well. This was not an easy choice, but we believe it is the right time for this change.

We can still help

While Kitty Camp is closed, I am excited to offer my services in a new capacity. Many of you already know and trust me, so I hope you will consider me for your pet-sitting and house-sitting needs.

My first hope is that I can continue to care for your beloved pets in this new role but if you need recommendations for other catteries, I am happy to provide guidance on who to use and what criteria to look for in a quality cattery. There are sadly facilities that I would certainly not recommend, so I can help steer you towards the best options for your beloved pets.

Our little "Muffin" was not quite 5 months when she stayed at Kitty Camp. We had such peace of mind with daily updates and photos. Muffin had fun and learned a lot from the older cats. We've been taking our cats to Kitty Camp for the past few years. Got back today from a week in Kruger Park and went fetch Tao and Oliver. Tao didn't want to come home!!!! It's so nice to have a place to leave your precious kitties when you go away and not have to worry at all. Celeste is wonderful with the cats. They love her to bits and she knows each cat by name and personality. So very glad we found Kitty Camp. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
